Week 1 Update (Week of 2/6)

(Unfortunately, due to personal and internship restrictions, there have been a delay in posts to Blogger.)

This has been a pretty slow week! Since ACSS is part of the much larger L3 Technologies, I have had to jump through a wide variety of hoops to secure my internship. I can only imagine how much more difficult this would be if my father was not an employee! To not fall too far behind however, I have begun to do background research on the systems that support TAWS. These systems range from widely known GPS, to much less known radio altimeters.

Hello World!

Good morning! This is my first post. I am Adam Ridenour, a senior at BASIS Peoria. This blog will primarily serve as a medium for which I will be able to express the weekly results from my Senior Research Project. I will be investigating TAWS software, and the current limitations the software has. Hopefully by the end of my project, I will have found the most prominent errors the software has as well as the potential solutions to said errors.
